As a result of over a decade’s worth of competitive racing and testing, Nissan bred one of the most iconic Japanese supercars, the legendary R34 Skyline GTR. At the time, this was the most technologically advanced Skyline with its multifunction LCD display that displayed performance data in real time for the driver. The culmination of Nissan’s competition experience led this Skyline GTR to dominate numerous racing series as well as holding the track record for production cars at the Nürburgring up until the Porsche 996 Turbo. Along with its motorsports success, its cameos in the Fast and Furious franchise and multiple racing simulators paved the way towards the title as the most recognizable Japanese supercar and has undoubtedly carried the Skyline heritage.
