Shop Hangouts: Garage Saurus Wrench Session
With Garage Saurus gradually getting set up in California, I figure it would be a good opportunity to share some regular day shenanigans at the shop. As we progress through 2019 I hope to share high quality and detailed content while also providing glimpses of the smaller moments with cars. Hopefully, this will include you all into the journey rather than just presenting you a 'finished product'. In this installment of Shop Hangouts, Lerry, Tim, and I came out to the shop to hang with Fujita-san as he replaced and starter and a pair of axles on a customer's car. This customer's car...
GARAGE SAURUS Build Spotlight - Part 2: The Remarkable R34 GTR
Think back to what you were doing back in January 1999. You might have been playing Gran Turismo 1. You wouldn't have known what the Fast and the Furious movie was- as it hadn't even been shot yet, and JGTC was still called JGTC. At the same time, R34 GTR's had just hit dealership showrooms. Approximately 11,500 of them were produced in the span of three and a half years and dealerships had little trouble selling them. Before all this though, Nissan gracefully distributed an allotment of R34's to various tuning shops. GARAGE SAURUS was one of those entities. Every car...

We made long lasting memories with new and old friends, and furthered strengthened the passion for the Skyline. Working hard throughout the year, we were...

Skyline Spotting: Purist Winter Drive 2018
Full disclosure: This blog post will not do the event justice. It doesn't serve as coverage for the event. It's a small collection of Skylines that I spotted at the Purist Winter Drive this past Sunday. Apologies for the lack of words and images. 6:00am meet up at Starbucks for the caravan Tim took some cool rollers Our line up for the event: Andy's R33, and a gaggle of R32's owned by Simmy, Robert, German, Gary, Dustin, and Lerry Hi Sean Morris Promax was in the spirit Its not everyday that you see an R34 parked next to a Bug...
